- Class
- Alpha-MSH tripeptide fragment
Also known as Lys-Pro-Val, Lysine-Proline-Valine
Promising in lab and animal research, not yet proven in human trials. Widely used and reported within the community.
About this peptide
KPV is a tiny three-amino-acid fragment of the natural hormone alpha-MSH, studied for its anti-inflammatory action. The research focus is the gut, where it has reduced markers of inflammation in animal and cell models, with some interest in skin too. Human clinical data are limited, so it is early in its evidence. Supplied as a freeze-dried powder for research use.
What it does
Researched for calming inflammation, with most attention on the gut and digestive lining. The gut-health crowd explores it for IBS-type discomfort, reflux and recovery of the gut lining, sometimes after antibiotics or alongside BPC-157 for digestive work; there is secondary interest from the skin crowd for inflammatory skin conditions. A targeted anti-inflammatory rather than a recovery or growth compound.
What to expect
Week 1
mild injection-site redness/a firm lump in ~25-30% (community); some early self-reported calm
Weeks 2-4
most reported gut-comfort and skin-clarity changes (community)
Weeks 4-12
reported plateau; typical cycle-off point
Long term
no human safety data; preclinical signal in CAC model is protective not harmful
A rough guide drawn from research and community reports. Individual results vary and nothing here is a promise.

Key points
Suits people researching gut inflammation who want a small, naturally derived fragment that has been well tolerated in the studies that exist, and it pairs naturally with BPC-157 in gut-focused stacks. Best for those comfortable that the evidence is still mostly preclinical. Less relevant to musculoskeletal recovery, where TB-500 or BPC-157 are better matched.
KPV is the tail fragment of alpha-MSH. Research describes it entering gut and immune cells through the PepT1 transporter and dialling down inflammatory signalling there, which is why the gut is the main focus of its study.
The evidence is preclinical, so human effects and safety are not established, though it is generally reported as well tolerated in the research that exists. As with all freeze-dried peptides, purity and correct reconstitution matter, and a Certificate of Analysis is shared where our supplier provides one.
Supplied freeze-dried. Reconstitute with bacteriostatic water to your required concentration, then refrigerate at 2-8°C. We can reconstitute to spec for you as a paid service.

Questions about KPV
Anti-inflammatory research in the gut, in animal and cell models. It is a small fragment of a natural hormone (alpha-MSH). Human effects are not established.
Research has used both routes. We supply it as a freeze-dried powder for you to prepare for your own research.
