About this peptide

BPC-157 is the most-run recovery research peptide. It is a stable peptide based on a protective protein found in gastric juice, with a large body of animal research behind it covering tendon, muscle, bone and gut healing. Human data is still limited to a handful of small pilots, so it sits in the well-explored-but-not-proven category. Supplied as a freeze-dried powder for research use.

What it does

Popular with people focused on recovery and soft-tissue repair, especially tendons, ligaments and the gut. Bodybuilders run it locally near an injury; the gut-health crowd uses it for IBS, reflux and NSAID damage. It is studied as a recovery and repair compound, not for muscle growth or performance.

A common first peptide for recovery and injury research, often injected near the injury site, and frequently paired with TB-500. The gut-focused crowd runs it for digestive comfort. Less relevant to anyone chasing muscle growth, which it is not studied for.

In animal research BPC-157 promotes new blood-vessel growth (new blood-vessel formation) through the VEGFR2 and nitric-oxide pathways, upregulates growth-hormone receptors on tendon cells, and supports fibroblast migration. Better blood supply to healing tissue is the recurring theme in how researchers describe it.

Most evidence is preclinical, so human effects and long-term safety are not established. Because it promotes new blood-vessel growth, reviews discuss caution where an existing tumour may be present. Purity and correct reconstitution matter; a Certificate of Analysis is shared where our supplier provides one.

Supplied freeze-dried. Reconstitute with bacteriostatic water to your required concentration, then refrigerate at 2-8°C; swirl gently rather than shake. It has not been formally studied for blood pressure in humans, so if you are medically sensitive to blood-pressure changes, treat it as not fully characterised and check with your doctor first.
